Simplified fee structure for non-EU conformity assessment bodies

Since 1 January 2016 DAkkS applies a new fee schedule for the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies abroad falling outside the scope of EU Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008.
After five years the fee schedule has been revised in order to simplify its structure while taking into account the increased effort and complexity of accreditation procedures performed outside the European Economic Area.
Initial accreditation, extension or change of accreditation and re-accreditation can still benefit from the previous fee schedule if the application has been filed at DAkkS before the date of entry into force of the new fee schedule on 1 January 2016. The same applies to surveillance assessments which have been announced by DAkkS prior to this date.
