New website of the German Accreditation Body is online
Press Release,

Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) has completely revamped its website at www.dakks.de. With the relaunch, Germany’s national accreditation body is improving the ability of users of the website to find relevant information quickly and easily. In addition to a modern, graphic web design and a broadening of the range of information on offer, the development work also focused on optimising the site’s structure and navigation.

The clean, uncluttered web design is in line with the newly adapted DAkkS brand identity. It is fully responsive and now also ensures optimised display on mobile devices. Accessible use of the website has also been optimised.

The DAkkS accreditation process is now explained in greater detail than was previously the case, in six individual steps: basics, application, assessment, decision, surveillance and amendment. This section provides answers to the most important questions concerning the accreditation process as well as links to other topics and important documents.

Another goal of the revision was to improve the user-friendliness of key service areas of the website, for example by providing new search and filter options for the document search or the database of accredited bodies. Documents can now also be collected in a folder and downloaded together. The new “Quickstarter” feature helps users navigate the site more easily. It provides different user groups with tailored links to frequently requested content on the DAkkS website. The Quickstarter is displayed as a green rocket symbol at the top of the page.

DAkkS provides more detailed information about our new website at www.dakks.de/en/relaunch.html.
