New web seminar series on DAkkS accreditation for organisations outside Germany and the European Union
The German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) is now offering online events in English specifically for international conformity assessment bodies that would like to find out more about the requirements and opportunities associated with DAkkS accreditation. The first event is a free web seminar entitled ‘Ready for DAkkS accreditation – Understanding the fundamentals for organisations outside Germany’, taking place on 17 July and 30 October 2025.
This new event format is specifically designed for conformity assessment bodies - including laboratories, inspection bodies and certification bodies - based outside Germany and the European Union. It focuses on the fundamentals of the accreditation system and international regulations, as well as the accreditation process and requirements.
Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the legal framework, the relevant documents, the timelines involved and the associated costs. The benefits of DAkkS accreditation will also be highlighted. An open Q&A session at the end of each seminar will give participants the opportunity to address specific topics of interest.
Registration for the first web seminars
The web seminars ‘Ready for DAkkS accreditation – Understanding the fundamentals for organisations outside Germany’ are led by experienced DAkkS staff, who will provide first-hand insights and information. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
