Cross-border dialogue: Swiss Accreditation Service SAS visits DAkkS in Berlin
In recent days, Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) welcomed international visitors: six colleagues from the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS, including Head of SAS Dr. Anja Simma, visited the DAkkS headquarters in Berlin.
Constructive exchange as the basis for strong cooperation
DAkkS keeps in close and regular contact with accreditation bodies worldwide. The visit from Switzerland presented an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and explore shared visions for the future. After a joint dinner to mark the start of the event, two days of intensive technical discussions took place at the Berlin office of DAkkS.
The focus was on, among other things, the organisational development of DAkkS, the work of the DAkkS Academy and the training and further education of DAkkS assessors as an essential component of quality assurance in accreditation. In addition, innovations from DAkkS, such as the digital accreditation symbol, were presented and discussed enthusiastically. There was also an intensive exchange of views on future projects relating to digitalisation and artificial intelligence.
Strengthening of international cooperation
The open and constructive dialogue once again highlighted the importance of international cooperation in accreditation. In an increasingly globalised world, close cooperation is essential to ensure the highest international quality standards.
The visit from Switzerland helped to further strengthen the existing partnership and lay the foundation for future joint projects. DAkkS looks forward to continuing its close cooperation with SAS.
