Code of Conduct for GLOBAC – Proposed amendments submitted
The German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) has drawn up specific amendment proposals and submitted them to ILAC and IAF. The aim is to remove existing legal obstacles from GLOBAC's Code of Conduct.
On 9 July 2025, DAkkS once again refused to approve GLOBAC's current Code of Conduct during the vote. The reason for this continues to be legal obstacles that make it impossible for DAkkS to accept GLOBAC's Code of Conduct.
Other European national accreditation bodies have also not approved GLOBAC's Code of Conduct. The documents published below set out the legal concerns and proposed amendments that have been communicated to ILAC and IAF.
Reasons for the proposed amendments by DAkkS
Drafts of the proposed amendments_Code of Conduct
The proposed amendments to the Constitution and General Rules of GLOBAC developed by Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences were published on the DAkkS website on 21 July 2025. Based on the Code of Conduct now available, DAkkS has further supplemented these proposals.
