Change in DAkkS Management
The new Chief Executive Officer brings many years of experience in the field of accreditation and a thorough understanding of the structures of DAkkS. He succeeds Dr. Stephan Finke, who led DAkkS for almost ten years.
Commenting on his new role, he said: „I look forward to working together with the staff to further develop and strengthen accreditation during this phase. It is important to me to engage quickly with stakeholders and partners across the accreditation system. I am particularly pleased to be working once again with many people within and outside DAkkS whom I have known for many years.“
From 2010 to 2021, Dr. Torben Frank worked at DAkkS, where he headed the Legal and Compliance Department for several years.
Experience in accreditation and administration
He subsequently became Head of the Legal Affairs and Library department at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). In this role, he was primarily responsible for key legal matters at BAM.
With his professional and organisational expertise, Dr. Torben Frank brings extensive experience to the management of DAkkS, covering both operational responsibilities and its strategic development.
