Amendment to ordinance on fees published
In the Federal Law Gazette of 25 August 2021, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy published an amendment to the ordinance on fees for accreditation bodies. The ordinance will come into force in two stages on 1 October 2021 and 1 April 2022.
The fee ordinance is the basis for the calculation of fees for the services provided by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) in the statutory area. With the amending ordinance that has now been published, the Federal Ministry is making adjustments to the calculation of travel and waiting times for authorised representatives – i.e. external assessors and technical experts – and to the fee rates for accreditation services.
