There is new hope for an agreement on GLOBAC based on the proposed amendments

Specific proposals for changes to GLOBAC conditions from DAkkS

DAkkS has developed specific proposals to remove obstacles under EU law and has forwarded these to ILAC and IAF. The aim of the upcoming negotiations is to reach a mutually acceptable solution that will enable DAkkS to join the international accreditation organisation GLOBAC in full compliance with EU law.

Switch to new standard

Changeover to new DIN EN ISO 15189 successfully completed – DAkkS manages shortened transition period with confidence

Continuation of around 450 accreditations in medical laboratory diagnostics assured

With the publication of DIN EN ISO 15189:2023, DAkkS faced one of the most extensive changeovers in the field of medical laboratory diagnostics. Despite high requirements and a shortened transition period, all affected accreditations were converted on time to ensure their continued validity.
