Possible agreement between GLOBAC and 41 WTO Member States

DAkkS sends Letter of Intent with conditions

After intensive negotiations between the 41 members of the European co-operation for Accreditation, including the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS), and the international accreditation organization GLOBAC, a looming fragmentation of the accreditation system appears to have been averted.

Introduction of the new combined MLA mark from EA and DAkkS

A strong symbol of international recognition of DAkkS accreditation

On 1 September 2025, EA published the combined MLA mark (or “EA mark”). With immediate effect, DAkkS-accredited bodies can now easily apply for the EA mark. It is issued free of charge.
