The Executive Board has established staff divisions and staff units which are responsible for planning, advisory or controlling activities for DAkkS.
Staff division I: Legal and Application Administration
Legal and Compliance supports the Executive Board, the divisions and all other business units in all legal matters. Central Application Processing (ZAB) processes and reviews all applications for DAkkS accreditation services centrally and consistently.
The General Affairs and Business Development staff unit combines the areas of Business Development and Committee Policy, General Affairs and Accreditation Policy, International Development and Cooperation/Technology Transfer, and Assessor and Decision-Maker Management. All areas are of strategic importance for DAkkS in order to further develop accreditation services for industry and society in equal measure.
Uniform processes, clear requirements and willingness ensure the high quality of the “accreditation” service. This staff unit implements the legal and normative bases and requirements for the activities undertaken as an accreditation body into a suitable quality management system.
