Legal and Compliance
Legal and Compliance supports the executive officer, the technical departments and all other units equally in all legal issues relevant to the work and tasks of the DAkkS.
The staff unit is responsible for the topics of accreditation governance, research and innovation. Topics of fundamental and strategic as well as international importance for the accreditation authority and for the economy and society in connection with conformity assessment and accreditation are dealt with.
The staff unit supports all areas of the DAkkS in the design of change processes and their implementation. The aim is to improve cooperation within the individual organisational units and to optimise processes, workflows and their interlinking.
Uniform processes, clear requirements and willingness ensure the high quality of the “accreditation” service. This staff unit implements the legal and normative bases and requirements for the activities undertaken as an accreditation body into a suitable quality management system.
With its press and public relations work, Corporate Communications informs relevant sectors of the public about current developments and issues relating to accreditation and conformity assessment.
