The mutual recognition of the services and results of accredited bodies is a prerequisite for reducing technical barriers to trade and increasing the international acceptance of accredited assessment services without the need for costly multiple accreditations. This approach follows the principle of “tested once, accepted everywhere”. This is made possible within the legal limits of European Union law through multilateral agreements and arrangements between national accreditation bodies within the structure of international accreditation organisations.
DAkkS-accreditation is recognized and considered in almost every country worldwide across a wide range of technical fields.
