The work of this technical unit focuses on the accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 of laboratories offering calibration in the areas of dimensional and electrical quantities, high-frequency quantities and radiation quantities.
Mechanical, Thermodynamic, Chemical and Medical Quantities | Measuring Instruments
The work of this technical unit focuses on the accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 of laboratories offering calibration in the areas of mechanical, thermodynamic, chemical and medical quantities, as well as measuring instruments.
Construction and Construction Products | Fire Protection | Mining
The focus of this technical unit is on accreditations in the areas of construction products, construction, fire protection and mining. In this context, the unit offers accreditations in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1.
Transport | Logistics | New Mobility | Fuels
In the areas of transport, logistics, new mobility and fuels, this technical unit accredits in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065. It also handles accreditations in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1 in the area of the aviation industry.
Automobiles | Homologation and Vehicle Monitoring
This technical unit processes accreditations in the area of automobiles, homologation and monitoring of vehicles for testing laboratories in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and inspection bodies in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020.
Energy and Emission Trading
This technical unit accredits testing bodies that verify or validate greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14065 as well as accreditations for certification bodies for management systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1 for energy management systems. Other areas of activity relate to the areas of renewable energy and nuclear technology. DAkkS accreditations here are in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020.
Information Technology and Cybersecurity
This technical unit accredits conformity assessment bodies in the areas of information technology and cybersecurity in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024.
