Colloquium focuses on the benefits of accreditation
In cooperation with the German Accreditation Body DAkkS and the Chair of Innovation Economics at the Technische Universität Berlin, the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) will organise on 9 December 2015 a Colloquium on the topic "Benefits of Accreditation".
In six technical lectures held in English language the economic and social importance of accreditation will be presented. In addition to the economic benefits of accreditation focus will also be on questions of establishing accreditation in developing countries and involving stakeholders. The Colloquium will offer experts and interested parties the opportunity to get informed about the latest trends and to gain insight into different scientific approaches on issues of accreditation.
Among others, Ray Lambert, PhD, University of London, will introduce the results of a study undertaken in the United Kingdom, in which the positive economic impacts of accreditation were quantified. Click here for more information and the complete schedule.
