The Central Customer Coordination (ZKK) is the competent service facility for clients of the German accreditation body.
The ZKK team, which consists of accreditation experts and team assistants, provides information regarding accreditation and conformity assessment issues to DAkkS clients.
Review of application
In addition to the centralised registration and classification of the applications, incoming application documents are also formally reviewed to identify jurisdiction within DAkkS and the possible involvement of multiple divisions. In the case of applications for so-called sensitive areas, ZKK will clarify whether a public authority entitled to issue authorisations (BeB) will be involved in accordance with Section 4 (1) AkkStelleG.
ZKK coordinates "multiple clients" procedures
In the case of so-called "multiple clients" (i.e. clients with multiple accreditation requirements, requiring the possible involvement of different government authorities entitled to issue authorisations), Central Customer Coordination can assume the overall coordination of the process. If you are interested in this type of service, please contact the ZKK for more information.
